Setting Up Partners Sync

Partners Sync connects two TRANSFORMR accounts so you can work toward your transformations together with shared accountability, joint streaks, and real-time workout visibility.

Prerequisites

  • Partners plan (one subscription covers both people — see How the Partners Tier Works)
  • Both people must have TRANSFORMR accounts (Free plan is fine for the invited partner before sync activates)

Step 1: Account Owner Subscribes to Partners Plan

One person (the account owner) must purchase the Partners subscription:

  1. Tap You → Settings → Subscription → Change Plan.
  2. Select Partners.
  3. Complete checkout via App Store or Google Play.

Once the subscription is active, you'll see a new Partners tab appear in the You section.

Step 2: Send the Invitation

  1. Tap You → Partners → Invite Partner.
  2. Choose how to send the invite:
    • By email — enter your partner's email and TRANSFORMR sends an invite email
    • Share link — copy an invite link to send via iMessage, WhatsApp, etc.
  3. Your partner receives the invite and taps the link to accept.

Step 3: Partner Accepts

When your partner taps the invite:

  1. They're taken to the TRANSFORMR app (or the App Store to download it).
  2. They log in to their existing account (or create one).
  3. A dialog appears: "Accept Partners Sync with [Your Name]?"
  4. They tap Accept.

Sync Activation

Sync activates within 2–3 minutes of acceptance. Both users will see:

  • A new Partner card on their dashboard
  • The Partners tab in the You section showing the other person's recent activity
  • Joint streak counter reset to Day 1 (your individual streaks are preserved)
  • The other person's Readiness Score on the partner card

If Your Partner Doesn't Have the App

The invite link will take them directly to the App Store or Google Play to download TRANSFORMR. Once downloaded and an account created, the invite will still be valid (invite links expire after 7 days).
