Creating a Custom Challenge

Elite and Partners users can design their own challenges from scratch, with full control over the goal, duration, tracking metric, and verification method.

How to Create a Custom Challenge

  1. Go to the Challenges tab.
  2. Tap + Create Challenge.
  3. Fill in the challenge details:

Name: Give it a memorable title (e.g., "Q2 Revenue Sprint," "Summer Cut").

Pillar: Select which Pillar this challenge belongs to (affects which metrics are tracked).

Goal type: Choose from:

  • Frequency (e.g., "complete X workouts")
  • Duration (e.g., "maintain a habit for X days")
  • Threshold (e.g., "reach X lbs / X miles / X revenue")
  • Streak (e.g., "don't miss a single day")

Target value: The number you need to hit.

Duration: 7 days to 365 days.

Verification method: Select how completions are tracked:

  • Automatic (pulls from your TRANSFORMR logs)
  • Manual check-in (you confirm each day)
  • Photo proof (upload a photo on completion)
  • AI assessment (the AI reviews your logs at the end)
  1. Tap Create.

Inviting Others to Your Challenge

After creating a challenge, tap Share Challenge to get an invite link. Anyone with the link can join your challenge (they need a TRANSFORMR account, but any plan level).

Staking on custom challenges: If you enable staking, all participants put in the same amount. The pool is split equally among everyone who completes the challenge. If nobody completes it, stakes are refunded minus a 5% processing fee.

Challenge Privacy

Custom challenges are private by default — only people with your invite link can see or join them. You can make a challenge public (visible on the community challenge board) in the challenge settings.

Editing an Active Challenge

Once a challenge has started and at least one person has joined, the goal and verification rules are locked. You can still change the name, description, and privacy settings.
